GP7 11th March 2003

Phil Lancaster's comments on race 7

Dear All and you as well,

If you think that the Andy Capper is mad then I agree. Just look at what mon ordinateur m'a fait.Me starting after His Eminence and 90 seconds after Devious Doyle of Delaval!!
Somehow Tony Mellor's mob seem to have the team race sewn up - what a brilliant run by Monsieur Mellor on Tuesday (4th on the night and second fastest)
Both le monsieur et The Noble Norman (7th on the night) set excellentexamples to their wayward teammates.
Another good example has been set by The Lord Stewart who along with 3 team mates (The Ladies Kath and Leslie and Sir D Simpson) has competed in all seven GP's this season.
Other people who have a 100% record are Count Calboutin and Baron Brannon who seem to have the first two places in the overall competition settled, Wizard Watt Junior, Magician McDougall, The Lady Tessa, Cunning Clark, Dreadnought Dickinson,
The Young Lady Cath, The Noble Norman, Centurion Bill, Lord Whitfield of Holywell and The Three Musketeers from Claremont, King Ken, Artful Anderson and Brendan the ex Prime Minister.
Please remember that GP 8 starts at St Mary's car park hopefully at 7.00 pm and that we will adjourn to the Brier Dene afterwards for the GP Prize and Presentation Ceremony (I am not sure what the prize list is as that is the responsibility of His Noble Lordship) There will of course be free food as usual and a chance to thank/shoot Andy Capper.
Anyway it should be interesting on 8th April to see the battles for places 3 to 10 in the overall competition, to see if Lord Stewart can win the Fairbairn trophy for the third consecutive year and to see if Tall Tony's team (even with Horrendous Hemy trying to run) can score a maximum 18 for the third GP in a row.

The peasant.
